Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on this website. Using Anderson County Criminal History means that you accept them. If you disagree with any condition, stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated site is not affiliated with government, is not a private investigation firm, and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act decisions.

1. What This Website Is

This independent reference site explains where Anderson County records are maintained. It does not possess official criminal records, perform official checks, or file documents. Relevant sources include the Anderson County courts and sheriff, Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You must not:

  • Violate federal, Kentucky, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person
  • Use content for any FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools
  • Disrupt the site or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate. Registry data is for lawful public-safety awareness, not vigilantism. Misuse may violate Kentucky law, including the protections associated with the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry under KRS 17.580.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We produce no credit report, background check, or consumer report. You may not rely on this site or a linked tool for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, licensing, benefits, or any other FCRA-regulated eligibility decision. A legally compliant check must come from the proper official or FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations about Anderson County records are not legal advice. A licensed Kentucky attorney should address how a warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement law affects a particular matter.

6. No Warranties

The site is supplied "as is" without a promise of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, security, or error-free operation. Government records and procedures change, and partner results can be incomplete or mismatched. No page is an official statement by a Kentucky agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External courts, agencies, legal resources, advertisers, and search providers control their own content, availability, prices, privacy practices, and terms. We are not responsible for those services.

8. Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Anderson County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, modification, distribution, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent Kentucky law permits, we are not liable for loss or damage resulting from use of this website, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, proceedings, fees, and costs arising from your use of the site or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms. A dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Kentucky. Public access to qualifying agency records remains governed by the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, and centralized criminal-history dissemination by KRS 17.151.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access at any time, with or without notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected provision will be limited only as much as necessary.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
