Arrest Records in Anderson County

Fingerprint-supported arrest information can flow to Kentucky State Police, while court dispositions later update statewide judicial and repository data. A delay or unmatched identifier can make the systems disagree. The Anderson clerk's signed order remains the best source for what the court finally did.

Recent Anderson County Bookings
Because Anderson County publishes no current local booking log, begin with the jailer and the roster for the actual receiving facility. Franklin County Regional Jail has been a frequent placement, but Shelby and Woodford channels have also appeared in official reports. Do not hard-code Franklin as the permanent answer. The facility holding a person can change, and a released person may no longer appear on a current roster.

Fiscal Court meeting archives provide a rare official view of Anderson County detention operations without publishing an arrest gallery. In the June 2024 Anderson County packet, the jailer reported 41 people arrested on 92 charges, 30 video arraignments, 49 court transports, and 94 total transports. Thirty-six Anderson prisoners were held at Franklin County Regional Jail. Housing bills also named Shelby and Woodford.

They are not a list of people, do not prove guilt, and cannot be used as a conviction count. Their value is structural: the numbers show why a local arrest, an outside-county bed, a video appearance, and an Anderson court file can all refer to one process.
Anderson County Arrest Search Limits
KOOL searches Kentucky Department of Corrections custody and felony supervision. It is not a list of every Anderson County booking, and its own warning says information newer than 120 days may not be finalized. Note: An Anderson County arrest is not proof of guilt, and many booking charges do not end in conviction.
If a dismissal or acquittal should no longer appear, check the signed Anderson County order and Kentucky's expungement rules. KRS 431.079 defines expungement and the certification requirement. Qualifying Anderson acquittals and dismissals with prejudice entered on or after July 15, 2020 generally auto-expunge after 30 days, with traffic exclusions and a right to object.
